Mariana M. from Waterloo, Canada

beautiful work on this image . very creative

25 Nov 2011 2:25pm

@Mariana M.: Thanks so much!

Don Smith from California, United States

I really like the overlay used here. You have demonstrated that oftentimes beauty is where one finds it. You have taken a withered plant and turned it into art. That is a great sign of maturing vision!

25 Nov 2011 2:36pm

@Don Smith: Thanks Don! I don't do so well with the live plants! (seriously though, I am paying so much more attention to shape, form, line, and texture- and those are the things that caught my eye here!)

Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, FL, United States

25 Nov 2011 3:17pm

This is sooo beautiful! Not many would see it as 'pretty' (in real life) and you made it look amazing!

25 Nov 2011 4:51pm

@Magda: Thanks so much Magda! I must admit I have had my eye on it for quite a while, waiting for it to wither and hoping none of them fell off!

Ha! And not so ironically, to your photoshop skills. Nicely done.

27 Nov 2011 4:26am

@Andrea: LOL! I am much better at Photoshop than gardening!

GJC from Kyoto (京都), Japan

Elegant! The shape of that long, lovely stem is like a fine piece of calligraphy. I am not always a big fan of highly "processed" images, but I think this works beautifully.

27 Nov 2011 1:10pm

@GJC: Thank you! I appreciate that! I do love working in Photoshop and sometimes it is easy to go overboard....A big part of processing is knowing when to stop!

B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United States

I've said it before, Tracy - you can make dead look really beautiful. With your photography skills, you do not need gardening skills. LOL

27 Nov 2011 8:44pm

@B. Thomas: LOL! So glad I have that gift, cause boy my garden is just full of "photo subjects" !
