Painting with light (or Enough cookies already!)

The beginning exposure for this image was made using a flashlight for the light source. Then I used some of the really fun filters from NIK software to finish it up.

Toqtally beautiful many minutes is 175 seconds..I guesss about three (duhhh) I really love this complete scene here..the reds and the treatment are totally cozy Christmas stuff...first the cookies, now this..I am in heaven each time I view your never ends. Your work is so wonderful! I am headed that way 12/24 in the AM will land at SFO 2:35 PM and will be finally back with the Mrs, even if only for the week

You are reminding me of the fun to be had in light painting . . it is a very effective tool and can - as here - produce lovely rich and saturated images in a noticeably balanced way.
