A bit further South from Point Lobos in Big Sur, is the Point Sur Light station. Please visit my website: http://www.tracyhagen-naturalvision.com I may not be able to respond to all comments, but I read and appreciate every one of them. I am currently attending classes at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, in the Photography department. I hope to someday make photography a full time profession. M@ndy from Singapore, Singaporethis is perfect in a lot of ways - the depth, the texture and the colour 31 May 2009 6:37am @M@ndy: Thank you Mandy! @oncho: 1. ¡muchas gracias! @Eleftheria: It is tough to go wrong in this area! everywhere you point your camera looks good! Scott Schilling from San Martin, United StatesTracy, the lighting on this is just fantastic! The clouds and fog create a marvelous light and feel to this image! I love this one. 31 May 2009 4:31pm @Scott Schilling: Thanks Scott, I am covered in fog over here! hoping that the incoming "storm" brings something good! (of course, if it does, I will be at work!) Don Smith from California, United StatesPoint Sur is such a beautiful subject to photograph and you have made an outstanding image Tracy - very well done! 31 May 2009 4:32pm @Don Smith: I agree, it is a great subject! I always think about how windy and cold it must have been for the people who lived there and kept the station! @Bill Brown: Thank You Bill john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesIncredible light. Wonderful composition. 31 May 2009 5:23pm @john4jack: Thanks Jack! It really is all about the light, isn't it? @Stefan: Thank you! Sometimes the light cooperates! @bekkah: Thanks you! Andreas from Neuwied, GermanyYou are all Right. 31 May 2009 9:59pm @Andreas: Thanks! I wanted to include the beach, because that is where the great light was, but also it gives some idea of how isolated this light station is. Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesVery lovely. These light stations are so nice. 1 Jun 2009 2:12am @Steve Rice: This is a neat one... I have been out there once. You can take a tour on certain days...the Fresnel lens is fascinating! @LauraS: Thanks Laura! Just happened to be there when the fog was lifting a bit and the sun was starting to peek through! Lee from Fort Frances Ontario, CanadaWow. Fabulous. I don't know what else to say. 1 Jun 2009 3:07am @Lee: Thanks Lee :) saying that works for me! Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesThis is gorgeous... a place I would love to go to one day... 1 Jun 2009 6:13pm @Fliss: A super fun place! Too cold to swim, though! Ti from Alpharetta, United StatesLooks like a good spot for beach fishing! Pacific water is too cold for swimming, for me at least. Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico are much warmer with their white sand, but the scenary can't compare to CA coast line at all! I came across this and thought you might be interested. 1 Jun 2009 9:19pm @Ti: Thanks so much Ti! I will go to work and enter some photos! This may just give me the boost I need to get going! MontereyJohn from Salinas, California, United StatesMy, my ... that works! One of my most favorite locations. Well done, Tracy! 1 Jun 2009 10:43pm @MontereyJohn: Thanks John!
