Point Sur Lightstation

A bit further South from Point Lobos in Big Sur, is the Point Sur Light station.

I am currently attending classes at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, in the Photography department.
I hope to someday make photography a full time profession.

Tracy, the lighting on this is just fantastic! The clouds and fog create a marvelous light and feel to this image! I love this one.

@Andreas: Thanks! I wanted to include the beach, because that is where the great light was, but also it gives some idea of how isolated this light station is.

@Steve Rice: This is a neat one... I have been out there once. You can take a tour on certain days...the Fresnel lens is fascinating!

Looks like a good spot for beach fishing! Pacific water is too cold for swimming, for me at least. Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico are much warmer with their white sand, but the scenary can't compare to CA coast line at all!
