Frozen LeavesPosted by Tracy (La Selva Beach, United States) on 27 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. As hard as I try, and I will keep trying, I find that large landscapes are very difficult for me to shoot. So much going on...What to include, what to leave out, what is my focal point? On & on....In a recent photography class, my assignment for the day was to "QUIT THINKING" and photograph with your heart! Please visit my website: http://www.tracyhagen-naturalvision.com I may not be able to respond to all comments, but I read and appreciate every one of them. I am currently attending classes at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, in the Photography department. I hope to someday make photography a full time profession. Thanks for viewing my blog. Please do not use my images without permission.

I like you find landscapes harder for some reason....I tend to gravitate toward this type of image when I follow my heart :) 1 Mar 2009 11:27pm Rand from Orem, United StatesThis is a fantastic shot. I love the way the frost makes an outline for the leaves. Did you desaturated the color in the background in post, or was it truly that colorless? Either way it is really great. 10 Jun 2009 12:52am @Rand: Thank You! I did not do much to this in post-processing...I did saturate the colors of the leaves a bit, but the background was just dead twigs- really no color at all! |
